Te Whare Tapa Wha in 2020. Hauora and Wellbeing.
How do we engage with spiritual wellbeing in an educational system focused upon physical, social and mental health?
This year we will be meeting in regional gatherings as well as linking up with each other across the country via Zoom. On Monday August 3rd you are invited to travel to a central meeting place in Auckland, Hamilton, Palmerston North, Wellington or Christchurch. The co-ordinator for each centre will contact you to decide if you’d like to meet for breakfast before the conference starts, or just gather for the conference itself.
The regional co-ordinators will be:
Auckland: Rodney Ramsay
Hamilton (including Stratford): Peter Rickman
Palmerston Nth (including Marton, Whanganui, Masterton, Hawkes Bay): Tony Gerritsen
Wellington: Sarah King
Christchurch: Peg Riley
Over the day we will be combining shared worship and keynote speakers with time for the regional groups to discuss, workshop and share with each other. We will provide suggested questions and areas for discussion, and will have an opportunity for groups to feed back or raise further questions.
The day will unfold roughly as follows:
9.30 Online shared opening worship
10.00 Keynote Speaker (online): Mason Durie
10.45 Q and A with Mason
11.15 Morning tea and Regional discussions
1.30 Keynote Speaker: (TBA)
