An inspiring day exploring ministry with children and young people in shared life-communities

Dr Andrew Root will share his work and research drawing on the work and theology of Dietrich Bonhoeffer and his practice of placing “the first third” in the centre of Christian community. The day will offer refreshing perspectives on what it means to be an intergenerational church that encourages belonging, participation and shared life for all.
This promises to be an informative and inspiring day for ALL in ministry (ordained and lay).
Andrew Root is Associate Professor of Youth and Family Ministry at Luther Seminary, St Paul’s, USA. He is the author of a number of books including Revisiting Relational Youth Ministry and Children of Divorce. He is one of the leading thinkers and writers in the area of ministry with children and youth and theology.
Costs: $40 per participant includes morning tea and lunch
