The Protestant Reformation and the breaking of the Western Church

If you are a Western Christian then your understanding of faith has been shaped by the sixteenth-century Reformation whether you are aware of it or not. This short course will give you an overview of what the Reformation was all about.

You will find the course lively and interesting, even entertaining. It will be taught by Tim Cooper, Associate Professor of Church History in the Department of Theology and Religion at the University of Otago. In 2014 Tim received a University of Otago Teaching Excellence Award.

Friday 28th July 7-9pm and Saturday 29th July 9am-12.30.
Columba Centre, 40 Vermont St, Ponsonby, Auckland. Morning tea and lunch provided.
