New Chaplain for Dilworth School

Donald MacLean, Principal at Dilworth, is very happy to announce the appointment of Rev Greg Worboys as the new Chaplain at Dilworth.

Rev Greg has spent 10 years in church youth ministry, some of them with the Anglican parish of Waikanae in the Wellington Diocese, where he was ordained, as well as with mission organisations travelling in Europe and the United States.

Rev Greg has also spent the last three years at St John’s College, Meadowbank, and has found space to work on a part time basis over that period as a support worker for students at Tamaki College in Glen Innes. He has a passion for, and considerable experience in, working with youth from a wide variety of backgrounds.

Rev Greg is a strong communicator and team person, and has worked in many different and creative ways to bring the good news of Christianity to young people in particular.

Rev Greg Worboys, and his wife Steph will be officially welcomed at the start of the next school year.  In the meantime, expect to see him around the school over the closing weeks of the term, to meet people and familiarise himself with our school community.

Donal MacLean trusts they will all be given a very warm welcome.
