I was born in Rhodesia [now Zimbabwe] and raised in a Christian family. I grew up seeing service for others as an integral part of life in a community. My recent time as a vestry member in my local church exposed me to the work that is needed for our Christian community and Anglican family to thrive. The global Anglican Church and Christianity as a whole are going through some turbulence as faith or a lack of it are under a bit of a spotlight. Involvement in discipleship work also gave me the courage to realise that we all have a part to play in affecting change. I want to play my own small part in helping build understanding around the good news that Christianity has to share.
