St Margaret’s College is seeking an innovative Chaplain to lead the worship and spiritual life of our school. The position requires maintaining and growing our school’s strong spiritual and pastoral culture, with a progressive, future focused religious education programme to meet the needs of our students, staff and wider community. The Chaplain is an integral member of the school’s leadership team and will work closely with the Executive Principal to promote the school’s vision, faith and values in the school community.
To be suitable for this role, you will need to demonstrate a sound knowledge of Anglican Liturgy, preferably having worked in a school environment and taught religious education. You will have an appropriate counselling qualification with the willingness to support and drive the value we place on the spiritual wellbeing of young people through Christian learning and pastoral care influence in all areas of school life, and a dedication to serving others.
