Simon was appointed Priest -in Charge of the Opawa-St Martins Parish in 2024 and Vicar in 2025 and is blessed to join the St Mark’s School family as their Chaplain.  The Anglican special character of the school and the close relationship that the school family has with St Mark’s Church is special for both the Church and the School. Pupils know they are loved by God, not defined by achievements. At St Mark’s School the Gospel shapes our teaching, our behaviour management, our relationships. Students learn that the Gospel offers them peace from their past, purpose in their present, and hope for their future.

Simon is Nicola’s husband and they have two independent daughters.  Simon and Nicola enjoy living on their lifestyle block near Rangiora.
